We are still deciding what goes in to our Gallery, but soon we will begin to curate a collection of our members work.

there are so many titles for this one.

first off, thank you all who have submitted favourites or to our gallery. thank you to those who've asked to become members of this clubhouse.

yes, sorry, it's a clubhouse.

sorry to call you out, man, but, well, if you didn't put a little comment out there, this would have not been written ...

but just because you got a dd from someone doesn't mean you're gonna get your work accepted as a favourite or gallery selection. dd's are pretty much irrelevant besides, well, a small number or perhaps something selected by the wonderful ^Gonzale. i'm biased though.

whilst some may think we're elitists, which we are anything but, when sev and i talked about "a clubhouse" and angelo was getting the groups things good ... "clubhouse" was a recurring theme. clubhouses are not big. they're small.

we envisioned a place with very few people; a place where we could share ideas, photos or whatever.

please don't think it's anything personal. when we see photos we make conclusions based upon the photo alone. it's either a good photo or bad photo. not only but there are like 6 people. hold on. there are 7 people who can vote on whether your photo gets included. there are 5 people who actually vote-vote. 2 people almost never vote. so ... that leaves five of us who check the queue at least once per day. it takes 4 votes to get a gallery submission or favourite.

from what i recall it's almost always unanimous on everything.

this group will always be little.

here's a screenshot of our activity proving that, yes, we approve stuff. :)

hope you're all well!

I know I've been mentioning this guy occasionally, but I'm posting this again for everyone, as it might be inspiring for some of us:

Love the favourites! This will be a great place for me to study what makes a good street shot.

You guys really are picky. Two of my DD's are Street shots and I got declined. Good luck with your little group of elitists.

DD doesn't mean shit. But yes this group is elitist!

dude, don't get upset over it, it's not such a big deal. which ones didn't get accepted? i'm just curious to see them since i have no idea which ones they were. you should look at it as a learning experience and try to understand why they weren't accepted and submit again in the future with more work. i don't think it's a personal attack or anything elitist.

and really, a dd doesn't mean much to be honest. not to say that it's not cool to get one and isn't a reflection of good work sometimes but it's merely the opinion of somebody who has the power to hit "select dd" and nothing more.

please link me the photos!

Don't worry about it. I just applied and it didn't work out so I let it get the better of me and posted something immature. Feel free to still check out my gallery, haha.

I don't know why you got declined, but making a subgallery with only your Street shots would make it a lot easier for the group admins to go through your street stuff ;)
Perhaps they just didn't see enough of your street photos?
